says the United States is plot-
ting to “bring down” Europe, Russia and China through capitalism.
Major General Hassan Firuzabadi, the chairman of the armed forces Joint Staff, warned Sunday of a scheme in which a handful of powerful American-based companies “seek to bring all the assets of the world under their control.”
He cautioned: “The United States has plans to bring down Europe, Russia and China through capitalism.”
He proclaimed that this “major imperialism” wants to make all the proples of the world its “slaves.”
Elsewhere on the rhetorical front, President Ahmadi-nejad, in a speech in Qazvin broadcast nationally, informed the public that the United States is demanding reparations for its wars with Iraq.
But the United States has sought no reparations.
Ahmadi-nejad spoke of reparations as if they were something bad, but failed to mention that Iran is still seeking reparations from Iraq for the 1980-88 war.
